The founders of Braid, Rick Berry and Darrel Anderson, are experienced artists, designers, illustrators, programmers, and teachers. They are old, befuddled and flummoxed, believing art can conquer all.

Their work has received awards from The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Spectrum, MacWorld Macintosh Masters, Computer Graphics World, and the Truevision International Videographics Competition. It has appeared in nearly every major computer graphics/media/arts magazine, as well many other publications including books, comics, posters, and a few doorstops.

They have taught - Rick at Tufts University, Darrel at Humbolt State - and appeared as guest lecturers at international conferences on diverse topics ranging from Artificial Life to Globalization and China.

They collaborated with Gene Bodio and Phil LeMarbre of PCA on the CGI climax scenes for the feature film Johnny Mnemonic (original story and screenplay by William Gibson, directed by Robert Longo).

Darrel, Rick, and the members and associates of Braid offer their work as evidence -- supporting their belief in art, collaboration, and the genius of friendship.
